New Look

So about a week ago, I was at work and having a casual conversation with some people there about age and other things. One woman commented that she thought that I was about 30 yrs old!!! now come on, I am only 24...and there is no way that I want to look 30 (no offense people over 30) but it just isnt' my time yet!! I AM STILL YOUNG! so i decided to go with a new look. I chopped my hair, waxed my eyebrow, and decided to start wearing make-up everyday (not a lot, i kind of look like a hooker with lots of make-up) but enough to cover up my "wrinkles" :) anyway, here is a picture of the new me....don't u dare say that I look 30!! LOL

Time for an update

Its been a while since I posted. So let me update you on our lives here in Fulton. Not much is going on this week. Our boys basketball team lost in the second round of the playoffs, we got a ping pong table for the youth center, two full time people quit at the Y, leaving room for a possible promotion (if I want it) and the sun finally shined today! :)
Please be praying for Dave's grandma. The cancer has spread and has caused internal bleeding. If they don't start chemo and stop the bleeding she will most likely bleed to death. We all have known that her time is coming, but it still catchs you off guard when something happens. Please pray that she can at least hold on for three weeks when Dave mom flys up from Texas, so that she can see her mom one more time.

False Alarm

So I don't think that I really had the flu. I think that I just got sick because I took my prenatal vitamin without any food, and was running late for work and decided to skip breakfast..so therfore I got sick. And since I skipped breakfast i didn't feel good for a while. Thank goodness it wasn't the full out flu, that would have just sucked.

Flu Shots

Okay so next year I am totally getting a flu shot. I know there are good things and bad things about getting it, and whatever. but now I have the flu for the second time this season, and it just sucks. I don't remember getting sick so often in like my whole life. Literelly all of Fulton is sick. They had to close down the school a couple of days ago because over 40% of the kids either had the flu or strept throat. I took the day off of work only because I am getting sick because people go to work sick and try to push through it, and then we all get sick in the process. So anyway, that is my day today! More fun times over here!

Happy V-Day

Happy Valentines Day to everyone who reads this...even if you don't like valentines day...i still love you!!! We aren't doing anything special today, but tomorrow dave and I are going on a date!! We barely ever get to go out just the two of us, so I am very excited. We got a gift certificate to a nice resturant in Morrison, and then we are going to the boys basketball game...okay I know that sounds funny and lame for a date, but I really want to go. I never get to go the games, and when I do I have Cheyenne with me who just runs around the whole time, so i don't get to see any of the game. And like half the team comes to our youth group, and half the cheerleaders come also, so it is fun to go..........and its a small town, not much to do if you know what I mean. Anyway it is gonna be lots of fun, and i can't wait!! Hope you all have a great weekend also!

FINALLY!!

I have the most excitng news to tell you all! Well it is exciting for me, and most likely not for any of you. But last night I found out that Clinton, IA.....the town right over the river from us........is getting a STARBUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited when I found out, that I nearly had to pull over to the side of the road! I was freakin out!!! Needless to say, I am VERY HAPPY!!!!

I just woke up from a nap, and I am ready to play!!!!

but first I need a snack... I am a big girl now, I don't even need a high chair!! What good food do I have in my fridge??

Now its time to slide! I love my slide..esspecially when Scooter is at the bottom, and I land right on top of him...it makes me laugh sooooo hard!!

Snow Days and Pics

So I was told the other day that I don't post pics enough, so later today after my batteries are done charging I will put up some long awaited pictures. NOt much has been going on around here. We had a big winter storm yesterday, and we are having our second snow day. Although it doesn't really affect me that much, its still kind of fun! I think dave is gonna have a huge snowball fight at the park today with the kids. Cheyenne hates the snow unless she is looking at it out the window!! Well that is about it. I will post later on!
